Juliette Winningham

Juliette was born April 1, 1959, in “farm country” near Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from BCLUW High School in 1977.

A proud Communications graduate of Rockhurst University, located in Kansas City, MO, Juliette spent the next 25 years working in Corporate America with an emphasis on the Energy Sector.

In 2017, Juliette established The FreeBird Foundation of Evergreen, CO. In the three years after its founding, three separate divisions were launched under the foundations banner.

First, The Lucky Dog Division, whose slogan, “Giving women a helping hand UP” was designed to convey the dual goals of facilitating outreach and providing assistance to underprivileged women in local communities.

Then, The Elk Whisperer Division was founded, whose slogan; “Feeding & healing one family at a time.” Illustrates the goal of providing healthy meals to food-insecure families.

And finally, Juliette founded Bruno’s Make My Day Division. This division was specifically formulated to provide outreach to underprivileged, neurodivergent children and offer them novel experiences. Along with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Bruno, Juliette facilitated trips for these children that included hikes, camping, fishing, helicopter rides, and more. This division provides special adventures for special children in need and indeed was the inspiration for the book series Bruno’s Amazing Adventures.

Today, Juliette is the Author & Producer of the aforementioned series, Bruno’s Amazing Adventures, a 30-book children’s series which takes Bruno (and Juliette) on an Amazing 3-year Adventure with the goal of; “Changing the World, One Child at a Time.”
